      <image:caption>Instead of altering an existing flute chest, we created these toe reducer boards to allow the chest to accomidate a much smaller string rank. This board is gasketed and screwed, not glued, to the old toe board to allow the chest to be returned to its original state if desired at a later date.</image:caption>
